Adult Education
13-week classroom studies (four quarters per year) equipping in four areas:
- Spiritual Disciplines
- Christian Studies
- Christian Living
- Lay Ministry Training
Classes meet at 9:00am and 10:45am on Sundays.
Covenant and Small Groups
Prayer/study/fellowship groups of 12 to 16 adults that meet in members' homes
weekly/biweekly to study the Word, to minister to one another, and to help in
developing personal relationships within the larger church. Some groups have an
outreach focus.
Bethany Singles
This is a group of over 30 singles. We meet at 5
p.m. Sunday night for fun and fellowship. We also meet at 6 p.m. on
Saturday evenings for Dining Out at a local restaurant. Please check the

office for current information.
Prayer Time
This is a prayer group for men and women that meets
every Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m.

Precepts
Bethel
Growth Groups
Groups of 4 to 8 adults that meet weekly to promote spiritual growth and
Christian relationships through sharing, prayer and a daily devotional plan.
Spiritual Gifts Program
An adjunct of the "Discovering and Using Spiritual Gifts" Adult Education Class
every quarter. Gift advisors assist people in finding their place of service in
our church family.
Mid-week Prayer
A time of prayer and sharing from 8:00-9:00am on Wednesdays at the church.
Also, Pray and Seek meets at 7:00pm on Wednesdays.
Inquirer's Class
Inquirer’s
class is for all people considering membership at HCPC or anyone who
just desires to know more about what Cumberland Presbyterians believe
and why. In class discussions include the doctrines of sovereignty of
God, the nature of mankind, the Christian faith and the church. The
format is an interactive, small group led by lay leaders. Each session
is approximately 1-2 hours in length and there are 6 sessions.
Inquirer’s Groups are scheduled in January, May and September for adult
and high school students. Inquirer’s Groups are scheduled in June for
middle school students
