ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Sunday Morning 9am Classes
Alleluias Amidst Adversities taught by Don Wilson (Room 407).
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
Jeremiah 29:11
Without doubt, life is at times downright difficult and personally painful. But with God accompanying us in the shadowed valleys, He will lead us to the avenue of alleluias. The Word of God will be our primary resource with supplemental input from other books, articles, music, videos, etc... Come join in this journey, traveling together with God and one another, as we face with faith the realities of life that, through Christ, has hope and a future.
2008 CLASS:
Love and Respect by Marriage Works Team(date/time to be announced)
Conference attendees may participate in a follow-up Sunday School Class starting in February, 2008 and running for six weeks. If you're looking for a way to crack the communication code and end the crazy cycle in your marriage, Emerson Eggerichs will teach you how to spell "love" to your wife or "respect" to your husband. The Beatles told us "all you need is love" and Aretha Franklin wanted a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Let's find out what God says on the matter.

ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Sunday Morning 10:45am CLASS
The Book of Romans taught by Dave Brookreson (Room to be announced)
A study of the book of Romans examining various doctrines related to salvation such as: God's sovereignty and man's free will; predestination and double predestination; Armenianism vs. Calvinism; eternal security issues; God's foreknowledge; and how works relate to salvation. Bring a bible and all your questions. Be ready for some spirited discussion!
Don't Waste Your Life taught by Phil Chamberlin/Bill Kesatie (Room to be announced)
God created us to live with a single passion: to joyfully display His supreme excellence in all spheres of life. The wasted life is the life without this passion. God calls us to pray and think and dream and plan and work, not to be made much of, but to make much of Him in every part of our lives. Yet, too many people waste their life by not using their lives to glorify Christ. In this class, we will use John Piper's book and DVD series, "Don't Waste Your Life" as a springboard to discuss salvation and sanctification as we plan and live our lives. “The greatest cause in the world is joyfully rescuing people from hell, meeting their earthly needs, making them glad in God, and doing it with a kind, serious pleasure that makes Christ look like the Treasure He is.” John Piper
